  We went there for 2 years, my wife and me just didn't feel like we fit in. It had a great youth group, they had a senior pastor by the name of Rick Thompson, a solid teacher along with a couple of associate teachers, a Michael McAfee that will some day be a senior pastor type teacher(my opinion) and a Abraham Wright who can teach pretty good too. I helped out in the youth when a youth leader by the name of McClain was there, I actually fit in better with the youth, problem is I was 63. But they were fun to be with. I really can't put my finger on why we didn't feel part of it. I told my wife that I blamed myself for talking to people too much and they thought I was "weird", she said that's baloney because you just like to be around people. Anyhow, I still blame myself and thought the best thing is to leave and start over.

  We love our church family at Council Road Baptist Church. Since day one we have felt welcomed there. In addition to attending church there regularly, I highly recommend joining a community group as well!

  I moved to Oklahoma 4 years ago and visited a few churches to find a new home. I chose this one because of the biblical teaching, the strong biblical values, and the friendly community. I have really enjoyed my time here, and now that I have a child I have experienced the great nursery that the church has during services.

  My husband and I found a home at CRBC because of the amazing people, genuine worship, and biblical teaching. This church values community, being on mission for Christ, and authentic spiritual growth. We love it! :)

  I love Council Road. The people here are awesome, I actually met my wife here. The Bible is the main focus in teaching and preaching. This is an excellent church

  I love Council Road Baptist Church. This place has wonderful people and has been such a great community to me. I highly recommend going to this church.
